Support St Peter’s Financially

It costs over £2300 every month to maintain St Peter’s Church, and it is not a rich one, with no big resources behind the scenes.
Most church members support our work locally through regular bank standing orders. If you are an eligible taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift by 25% at no extra cost to yourself simply by filling in the Gift Aid declaration. We can then reclaim the tax you have already paid from HMRC.

The form to complete for this for a single gift is here:

If you are local or a visitor and would like to support our work on a regular basis, please complete a Standing Order form that can be downloaded below, and delivered to your bank. Thank you.

St Peter’s War Memorial Fund

22 men from the 106 who left the village for the First World War did not return, yet only 15 are named on the existing war memorial. The other 7 were not formally commemorated because their families at the time sadly were not able pay for them to be included.

A further 3 men were lost in the Second World War, and there is no memorial to them. We are raising money enable us to acknowledge the missing men from the memorial as well as the names of the men who lost their lives in the Second World War.
